I’ve heard nothing but great things about Grinstead Garage. I’ve never used them myself but I have delivered auto parts to them. Always very polite. I’ve got to get some work done on my car soon and I’ll be going here. I’ve been told by my co workers they are very honest!
We called on Tuesday, got an appointment for Thursday morning. Our pickup was giving us a misfiring issue. Chad diagnosed it, got parts and fixed us up in a few hours. Very pleased with service and work done. Knowledgeable staff. Thanks for your service Grinstead š

I drive a mini cooper S. Yes a foreign carā¦ yes expensive to repairā¦ we understood. We first got towed to AMCO transmissions and was quoted $4,000 for a clutch ā¦. CLUTCH and DMF and 3 weeks repair time. I called 4 other shops and they donāt work on foreign. I called here and Chad answered! I was so relieved that someone would help. Got it towed to him. He gave a better quote, better fix time and better customer service than AMCO did! Iām thankful to have found him. Not sure about these others reviews but you wonāt regret it!! I will come back for further services when needed!! Thanks Chad!!
Got my van fixed and my employees back on the road faster than I could if I had sent our mechanic. Stayed open LATE and worked with me on the finances. Could’ve easily charged hundreds more but didn’t. I usually hate mechanic shops but this, this is a good one. If you live in Macon I’d seriously not consider any other shop. I live in Missouri and might be bringing my 96′ van back for an AC! I love this shop! A small dedicated dream team, just like my business!!
Mr. Chad and the staff were very professional and quick to assess my car problem. The price quoted was exceptional, compared to other past estimates I had received. I am a widowed woman and felt I was fairly and respectfully treated!. I would wholeheartedly recommend Grinstead Garage to everyone
Five stars is not a good enough rating for Grinstead’s Garage. From the moment I arrived I received nothing less than VIP service. Chad and the mechanics were top notch. They are honest and do all they can to accommodate their customers. If you need your car repaired I highly recommend them.
Grinstead Garage replaced the clutch in my 2008 Santa Fe. He was the only repair place to ask me the date of manufacture for my vehicle, which was important in identifying which clutch needed to be ordered for installation. Not only did they do a great job, but they kept me informed throughout the process. They were good guys, hard working and did excellent work at an excellent cost. I couldnāt be happier and gladly recommend them!
Chad and his staff are Great! They have been on an unbelievable journey with me after purchasing a š car from US auto sales. His staff is very knowledgeable and honest. Chad helped me understand every component of the process from what was wrong, what most likely happened, the parts needed for it to be fixed, what would happen if I did or did not fix it right away, and of course what was covered by insurance. Itās been just over a year now working with them and ultimately I give Grinstead Garage 5 stars for not taking advantage of the situation and providing outstanding services. Also this is NOT a place that will leave your car sitting up for days waiting to be serviced. They will definitely get you IN & OUT!

Read other reviews and was a little confused. Grinstead does not have towing service. They did however contact one and had them come to my house to pick up my Jeep and deliver it to the garage. I had a slave cylinder go out in my Jeep, I called around and Ginstead had the best price by far. No runaround, no delays they got me back on the road in no time. They even came in the day after Thanksgiving and saved me from calling into work on Monday. I’ll be using them again next time I have issues.
